I'm drawn to the things that feel timeless-
I’ve always been a little sentimental. I love old photographs, good music, antique shops, coastal towns, and anything that feels like it has a story behind it. I’m drawn to things that don’t need to be perfect to be beautiful—the worn edges, the little imperfections, the things that show they’ve been loved and lived in. I think that’s why I’ve always had such an appreciation for nostalgia and the feeling that comes with looking back at something years later. And somewhere along the way, that perspective found its way into the way I see people, too.

Preserving what time can't recreate.
Time has a way of changing everything. Faces change, seasons pass, places become memories, and the details you thought you’d never forget can slowly become harder to recall. I photograph because there is something special about being able to return to a photograph years later and feel a piece of that time all over again. To me, that is what photographs are for—not just remembering what happened, but remembering how it felt.

There’s a lot more to me than just what you see behind the camera. I’m a wife, a mom, a follower of Christ, and someone who loves to laugh way too hard at things that probably aren’t that funny. I’m happiest when I’m with my family, listening to good music, soaking up summer, or getting way too excited for fall. I love a good conversation, I love to joke around, and I’m probably going to make you laugh at some point during your session. I’m usually happiest with good music playing, my people around me, and something to laugh about

I’m drawn to things that have lived a little. Old music, beautiful furniture, vintage decor, old houses, and the people who have a lifetime of stories to tell. I think there’s something special about things that carry a little history.
I’ll take a warm summer day every time, but there’s something about fall that gets me every year. Give me changing leaves, cooler evenings, and a reason to stay in a little longer and I’m happy.
my biggest supporter

My husband, Khorey, has been my biggest supporter from the beginning. He’s my best friend, my number one fan, and the person who has pushed me to keep going when I wanted to give up. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without him.
What Inspires me
I’m inspired by stories in all their different forms- the way a song can change the feeling of a room, the atmosphere of an old film, the colors of a particular season, a beautifully written book, or the way two people naturally move around each other. I’m drawn to things that make you feel something before you even have the words for it. I love finding those same feelings in real life and translating them into something visual, personal, and lasting.
